Sour grapes! Brian Boyle's short-handed goal only happened because of a non-call in the neutral-zone, when Hagelin checked the King's D (Voynov) into the boards when the 2 were chasing down a loose puck - and BEFORE either got to the puck. It was clear interference, but play went on and Boyle scored. There wouldn't have been an OT if this were called. Plus, anyone that beats the Rangers is my favorite team of the moment. ("LET'S GO FLYERS!")
Living as I do in the hockey neverland of Delaware, I am always reminded of what the Atlantic District Referee-In-Chief said to me when I was being certified for the first time: “If you want your kids to learn how to play hockey, don’t let them watch the Flyers”.
True 30 years ago, still true today.
