Will Chuck Hagel Tell Susan Rice Not To Praise Bergdahl Until All The Facts Are In?

Susan Rice, United States National Security Advisor under the Obama administration, said that Bowe Bergdahl 'served the United States with honor and distinction.'

Sounds like praise to me.

But Chuck Hagel, who said very recently that Americans should not pre-judge Bowe Bergdahl, seems to take one line with - I guess "regular" Americans - and another with Susan Rice. Hmmm...

Should Hagel and Rice both say that Bowe Bergdahl should be neither judged nor praised until all the facts are in?

Funny how some WH aides can accuse Bergdahl's fellow soldiers of 'swift boating,' but won't tell people to not defend (or praise) Bergdahl until all the facts are in.

...and another rule for the folks?

Are they being neutral like they are asking "regular" Americans (the folks) to be? Are they in their own way 'swiftboating' Bergdahl's fellow soldiers? Are they 'swiftboating' regular Americans, too?

Should WH aides, and others at that level, take a neutral stance on this and do what they ask of others?

I guess that would mean no Rose Garden walk for Obama though...

Chuck Hagel to Susan Rice: “We don’t do that in America.”

Oops, scratch that.

Chuck Hagel to the ‘folks’: “We don’t do that in America.”

No pre-judging, just praising!

The reverse also applies. However, the conservative hypocrites (not all) are all over this one before the facts are in.

25 years of Prosecution taught me one thing. WAIT ... FOR ... THE ... FACTS. Not rumor or supposed “first hand” accounts but facts.

I think everyone in the Obama administration would find inner peace if they make an effort to recognize the terminal, self-refuting errors of postmodernism and existentialism.

In other words, I think they would be much happier if they started being honest.

In libtard speak, 'swift boating' = telling the truth, when the object of said truth telling is a favorite poster boy of the left.

Don't forget that there was nothing ever shown to be factually incorrect about the swift boat veterans testimony on John F. Kerry's service.

And Kerry invited those attacks by making his service the centerpiece of his campaign. Plus we had enough stupid American voters that he came within one state of actually getting away with it. Sometimes I wish he had. Then the consequences of voting stupid might have run their course by now.

I don’t agree with you there.

I believe that any administration should take a higher standard than the folks take. I believe that the folks are entitled to their opinion, be it one way or the other concerning Bergdahl.

But the Obama administration seems to take the reverse.

They get to do one thing and Americans, well, they just need to shut up. They get to do what they want, and the folks get to do another: THAT seems to me to be the Obama administration line.

Postmodernism: there is no truth. Truth is relative to observer.

I have asked those who adhere to this if that applies to Postmodernism itself. I get a huh look in response. I mean, if truth is relative, then isn't the belief that all truth is relative, relative itself?

If there is no truth, then is there no truth in the statement or belief that there is no truth?

Some say that this is “extreme relativism.”

But how can one define “extreme” under postmodern relativism?

Maybe Hagel can set it all straight now by saying that from now on no more doing to George Zimmerman what was done.

They wanted this painted the way it would most favorably reflect on them and put out that information. Now that those facts appear to be in question they want everyone to shut up and wait. His fellow soldiers may have held back on their statements if Rice, Obama and Hagel hadn’t done the victory dance. Saying the man served with honor and distinction would be the last straw if you knew differently.

Postmodernism appears to be simply a convoluted way to provide liars with a way to think they can get away with lying.
