Well then, the proper response would have been to fill her with lead, 17 rounds, leaving one in the chamber in case someone else decided to get stupid. We simply cannot tolerate anyone taking medication without police knowledge and permission. Part of our problem is that such tactics in most jurisdictions are limited to those incarcerated in confinement facilities. This is clearly insufficient. Any citizen, no matter where they are and no matter what they are doing, need to be subject to the complete and total control of Law Enforcement, for their safety. These people are trained, they would never abuse their authority. Get with the program.

The police deal with a very different crowd than you or I do, so they have to respond differently. To you or I, it’s none of our business what somebody else puts in their mouth. To the police, they may be dealing with a drug addict who is either planning to smuggle something to somebody on the inside or take some illegal substance.

Unless you deal with addicts all the time, you’re hardly in a place to judge them.
