There has got to be more to this story than a few paragraphs in The Daily Caller.
It makes no sense.
.
You would have to have been there to judge. There are abusive police. But there are also idiots who police have to deal with.

There is this story, local TV http://www.kspr.com/news/local/elderly-man-says-police-beat-him/21051620_25555390
Breshears says he and his wife were holding hands outside the house and she was calling for help when the police arrived. He says they tackled him, ordered him to get up, and when he couldn’t comply, they became more aggressive.
He also says he’s had problems with the police since the beginning of the year. Secondary versions of the story change that to “past problems with the law.”
The police chief told the reporter over the phone that Breshears is charged with elder abuse, resisting arrest and assault on an officer - the last two standard charges whenever police tackle a citizen.

There’s a big gap in the middle of the page and then the story continues.
Ma'am? I respectfully suggest this isn't the country we grew up in.
If you only knew how happy I would be to eat my words should this turn out to be a fraudulent report.

Why? Why MUST there be more? Because it isn’t a praise report of LE? News flash, cops behave this poorly routinely. That kind of automatic trust of cops is what enables their worst offenders. Too many refuse to examine their actions critically.
Saying there must be more is like saying there must be more to the story of cops shooting up newspaper ladies. It just isn’t all that hard to find such as this story, about good people who have no history.
