Female Escort: So, you from around here?
Carl: Just in town on business. Just in and out. A little of the old in-and-out.
Female Escort: What do ya do?
Carl: Have ya been to the Celebrity Room before? With other, uh, clients?
Female Escort: I don't think so. It's nice.
Carl: Yeah, well, it depends on the artist. You know, José Feliciano, ya got no complaints.
Waiter! What is he deaf? So, how long you been with the escort service?
Female Escort: I don't know, a few months.
Carl: Find that work interesting, do ya?
Female Escort: What're ya talkin' about?

Started off slowly, but it’s gotten really interesting!

I also loved the movie and was pleasantly surprised that the television series began so strong. Quirky just like the movie which is what makes it so fascinating. There are some really good named actors in the series, so I suspect that we won’t be disappointed.

Never saw the movie, but the TV episode was great. I’m looking forward to new ones.

The two are basically unrelated but the movie was great.

As a life long Minnesotan I have an issue with the stereotypes. But it is a very good, well written show.

Having been born and raised in Grand Forks, not that far from Fargo, I just had to laugh at the stereotype of North Dakotans in the original movie. It's not true, of course, but I thought the movie was ok.

Bates Motel is a “can’t miss” in my house.

I also like “Justified”.

My wife watched “Fargo” and we’re going to start over on xfinity on demand.

Looks like Comcast just launched a strike on XBMC.

Xfinity belongs to XBMC.org

I love shows with that kind of dry, off-beat dialog! What’s that from? The movie?

The movie is what really put the Coen brothers on the map.

Even though I’ve never watched it, most folks around here do like it.

Just watching it on DVR, Thorton is a hoot. The scene with the dumb as a clam boy pi$$ing into the Moms gas tank is comedic gold.

Fantastic... truly a well-written show.

So much imagery and language from the 1950s, yet with a modern touch. The mom (Norma Bates) is a hot mess, and her son Norman is a teenager in this series (14 y/o) and on the road to becoming a psycho. They also use Twitter, laptops, iPhones, new cars, etc., on the show — so it’s an infusion of the old and the new.

Carlton Cuse (creator) is fantastic, as well as the writers.
