This pricey drink is "here to troll us all," SFist proclaims.
The World's Best Martini has arrived in San Francisco.
And it's yours for a mere $125.
Bring the company credit card to that three-martini lunch.
SFist reports that the Ame Restaurant bar at the St. Regis hotel and residences in San Francisco's South of Market has crafted "the World's Greatest Martini."
The drink, "San Francisco's most luxurious cocktail," is for a "spirits aficionado" who "has tried everything," according to to PR person pushing the drink.
2 Days-Old Kittens Survive Accidentally Being Mailed What could possibly be worth $125? Well -- it's made from NOLET's Reserve Dry gin, which fetches $700 a bottle, for one. That's pricey enough to be the "world's most expensive gin," SFist found.
But what kind of person swigs a $125 drink? One way to find out. Ask someone richer than you, or look on Twitter to see who's boasting of their beverage conquests.
It probably has $1.25 worth of labor and liquor
I guess you order this just to prove you can and others can’t.
SFist? I’m afraid to ask.
I hate Gin. I like an extra dry in and out stoli martini with 2 olives. For $5. :-)
Too bad- it's seven bucks at happy hour around here!
But what about the 2 Days-Old Kittens that Survive Accidentally Being Mailed?
I am wondering just what flavor the accidentally mailed 2-day-old kittens bring.
I can make a $10,000 Martini, Vodka or Gin, your choice, and I can guarantee it’s the best Martini you’ve ever had. And I make it in my kitchen. One or two olives, no extra charge.
Martini ~ $125
Nolets Reserve Gin
Perucchi Vermouth
Bitter Truth Orange Bitters
Nolets Reserve, Schiedam, Holland
This is a very small production gin and truly unique. Infused with saffron and lemon verbena, it has light floral aromatics along with a subtle spice. It is delicate and complex,
with a long finish.
A special treat
They couldn’t sell me one for $1. I hate gin.
Soo...Gin rummy is right out?
