It will be interesting to see if Mercedes can keep up what they’ve been doing.

Merc has it sewn up, the only question is which one gets first. The only real race will be who gets third and how far behind will they be.

Merc had sooooo many resources available they literally out spent the independent teams by multiples. They have the resources to make all the changes required this year. Resources nobody else could touch. They also sniped two key chassis engineers from RB.

The Renault engine facility, which has been down on hp for years, just could not crank out the technology required to make the hp for the new engine and KERS.

If the FIA and teams do not change quickly F1 will take the same road the American CANAM series took when Porsche entered the series. Independents could not compete and the greatest road racing series this continent has seen went adios forever.

The cars sound just awful and the fans hate them. They are the most expensive F1 cars ever and they will be the most expensive to race. Because they are so expensive sponsors will be harder and harder to get that have the money to throw away.

Watched delay broadcast of the F2 race from Bahrain and it sounded so sweet. Like the F1 cars of old.
