“the combination of alcohol and weapons sounds like a bad one.”

Well, I dunno. People keep saying that alcohol and firearms don't mix but come on, do you think I'd be able to light farts with a .45 if I was sober?
I thought not.

Just tell the Feds that its Sharia compliant and they’ll approve it immediately.

As long as he prohibits even the handling of firearms after you have taken a drink, I see no problem.

As long as everyone is wearing condoms there should be no problem.

...wants his establishment to offer its patrons a drink after theyre finished shooting. I see no problem with this as long as all the weapons are safely stowed back in vehicles before decompressing with a cool one.

The Sportsmens club I have belonged to since 1987 was
started by WWII Vets in 1946. We have a trap range w/voice
activated automated clay launchers, an R & P range, and a
5 star archery range. We have a clubhouse which seats app 100
and a kitchen besides our ourdoor BBQ shack which includes
a bar. The best feature IMO is the inside liquor/beer bar which
we are licenced to operate. Only in the past app 15 yrs have we
instituted a no drinking during and prior to shooting policy. It is
the safe and correct policy but I must say that in almost 70 yrs
we have not had an incident. BTW we are located in the evil
gun hating state of California.

I used to belong to a range that did have a bar. Obvious rule was “one sip and you’re done shooting for the day”. No problems.

When I used to shoot regularly with a group, we always had plenty of alcohol on hand. We had rules though, similar to that described in the club. Once you start drinking, you're done shooting. Same rules applied to safety violations. Unsafe firearm handling would get you the opportunity to start your drinking earlier than you intended.
Never had any problem. Everyone understood the rules and agreed with them.
