Something I’ve used for various showers and other events as an hors d’ouvres that everyone likes:

A piece of Danish sliced ham spread with cream cheese (I use lite) with an asparagus spear rolled up. I’ve also had it with a pickle in place of the asparagus and it’s pretty good, too.

When my sister and I were young and didn’t feel well, we’d ask Mom to make us spaghetti with scrambled eggs. Doesn’t sound great, but we used to really enjoy it.

Take cooked spaghetti, put it in a pan with a little butter and scramble an egg (or 2 - depending how much spaghetti one has) and a little milk.

Put the oiled spaghetti in an oiled flat pan, pour beaten egg evenly over, sprinkle with plenty of Parmesan and gently fork in. Cook until the bottom gets a bit crusty, or at least firm. Turn like a pancake, and brown. Cut in wedges. You can add whatever herbs you want while cooking.
