Balsamic vinegar isn't all that tangy, as vinegars go it's pretty sweet.

A good hard cheese (parm, romano, asiago) goes good when drizzled with honey and balsamic, maybe a spot or two of cinnamon nearby.

Heck, that’s an Italian dessert! They use pecorino (dolce, not the hard stuff) with honey or balsamic glaze. Fantastic.

I found a chocolate balsamic vinegar that is heavenly with strawberries and pineapple.

One of my favorite treats is melted brie with apple slices.
