Peaches Geldof has died today at the age of 25. The mother-of-two, daughter of Bob Geldof and Paula Yates, was found by police at her house in Wrotham, Kent, at 1.35pm. Kent Police said the death was 'sudden' and 'unexplained'. In a heartbreaking statement her father Bob said: 'Peaches has died. We are beyond pain. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us. 'Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable? 'We loved her and will cherish her forever. How sad that sentence is. 'Tom and her sons Astala and Phaedra will always belong in our family, fractured so often, but never broken. Bob, Jeanne, Fifi, Pixie and Tiger Geldof.'

This guy was funny and worked clean. Too bad. It’s never bill maher. Guess you have to have talent.
What a terrible thing to say, especially since you do not know how she died.
There are some stories I could live my entire life without sharing. That would include any part of the life of this class of people.
Comedian John Pinette was #2 already.
You’re thinking of the Newman hoax. This is a different guy. John Pinette. He was a pretty famous stand-up comedian who happened to be in the last episode of Seinfeld.
I was a fan of John Pinette. As you said, he worked clean. I don’t remember him ever using a dirty word in hour-long performances.
2 years short of the Forever 27 Club
There was a 50 year old comedian who died today or yesterday as well.
I realize we don't know the cause of her untimely death yet but the warning signs were there.
Here is the local story on the death of John Pinette:
His cafeteria routine was hysterically funny...and as others have said “he worked clean.”
He would number 1; Mickey Rooney, number 2; and Peaches Geldof number 3.
Back in the day I was really “into” following celeb news, and I recall the Pamela Yates/Michael Hutchense coupling. At that time, I thought “this” is what accounts for celebrity in Britain? This was before the rise of all things Kardashian/Beyonjay etc.
As dreary of a fellow as Geldof is (<-how Brit of descriptor is THAT?) no one should have to bury their child. My sympathies to him and to the others Peaches left behind. Hopefully SOMEONE in the Geldof Familia takes custody of those babies, gets counseling, and breaks the cycle of drug abuse and stays far away from the toxic social circles that wrought generational drug abuse.
Sad for her family and friends.
Anybody here know what tattoos like she had does to a model’s opportunities? Seems to me that they wouldn’t help.
I have no idea why so many otherwise pretty young ladies desecrate their bodies like that.
She resembles Chelsea Clinton.
25 is just too young to die.
Just about everyone knows that one of the most important features of the female, is their soft and womanly skin and feminine appearance.
How teenage girls got the idea to erase and mar the most important elements of their youthful beauty with tattooing their skin, and putting metal in their faces, is a puzzle.

THis is the best a father can say of his child? She was 25. It sounds like she was three. She wasn’t smart, intelligent, talented, kind, compassionate, good, he didn’t hit on any of the virtues to describe his daughter, just “wild” and “bonkers”. No wonder she is dead; she was without any virtue whatsoever. It is a miracle she lived this long.
Sounds like Geldof tried at one point to keep her on the straight and narrow.
RIP
