Bill Maher used his HBO show on Friday to call out an element of the gay community that he says enforces political correctness like James Gandolfini’s Tony Soprano dished out mob justice. “I think there is a gay mafia,” the Real Time host said during a panel discussion. “I think if you cross them, you do get whacked.......”

Don’t read too much into this headline. Maher was trying to deliver a joke and the punch line did not go over too well.
I used to think that Matt Groenig, author of “Life in Hell” and “The Simpsons,” needed to take a course in art, until I saw Ted Rall’s chicken-scratching.
Maher was probably making a threat to his critics. The bigger question is why is Ted Rall not deported?
The regulars folks, who are live and let live, will need to learn how to whack those whackers. Dish it right back, drag them through the court systems. This has gone way too far and has become the flip side of fairness.
