On the Sunday the week we were there, there were a few thousand on the buses, walking around and in the old city.
We talked to them. They were on one day pass. Orders: take firearms with you and wear uniform.
In Israel I guess its a different way of life, when you turn 18 you join the army, my cousin still has her gun and she’s been out of the military for years now..people walk around with guns and no one makes a big deal out of it, its the norm over there..that is why Israel is one of the safest places to be, they are secure, they don’t wait for the police to show up when there is a crisis they take care of business
