I always thought there was something wrong with the dog.
Lassie seemed ot lead Timmy into danger.
Apparently in an attempt to destroy him.
Then Lassie would go back to his parents and brag about the misdeed.
“Even as we speak, your progeny is having his faced wiped from his skull by a BEAR!”
Timmy seemed remarkably resilient and indestructible.
