I thought the Supreme Court ruled separate but equal was not constitutional?

This reminds me of the incident back in the early 90s (I think) when a female student at ST Mary's College sued to be allowed to play in mens intramural sports. After she won that lawsuit, she decided to play flag football and when someone knocked her on her ass she sued for being roughed up or physically touched, or something.

When the school and court couldn't figure out how to let her play foot ball but not be blocked or touched they ended up killing the sports program altogether.
