I think there are MANY freeps who have changed their handle —I’m constantly amazed at how many handles feature long dates. I’m sure I’d recognized very many freeps if they kept the handle they started out with.
I think I passed 16 years some time ago.
My original screen name was banned many years ago. My first screen name was from 4-17-1998.
I’m coming up on 16 years myself, since August 1998. Only about 800 posts for me. I check Free Republic every day though.
