I’m watching it the second time to watch that ending part more closely. Someone on here said they heard people in those shipping crates and I didn’t.
I knew they were being herded due to seeing the spots on the concrete/ground when the guns were fired; they were being herded all right and I wanted them to realize that and they didn’t.

When Daryl walked around the side of that truck and saw Rick, Michonne, and Carl, and told Joe if he wanted blood, to take it from him.......and later when Rick told him, “You’re my brother”......that was supreme payoff right there. For me, all the waiting for the reunion was worth it.

Watching it for the second time. A couple of the doors that they run through are labeled “A”. Maybe it’s the designation for the path that they’re being herded through. And maybe that explains the title of the episode.
