Beck may be back from vaycay, but he’s nuttier than ever.
Freescale makes microcontrollers, chips that run everything from microwave ovens to the sensor that flips the screen in your iPad. They’re one of many suppliers, but to suggest that Pakistan would grab some semi chip designers or process engineers like this is just embarrassingly ignorant. People fly all over the place every day. Freescale has plants in China like every semi company.
Really, someone needs to get this guy some stronger meds.

I have to admit from the cargo angle that something could have been in the cargo area being transported by the people from Freescale Semiconductor. Maybe something real high tech that someone really wanted their hands on. Just another posibility among many.
I do not bash Glenn! He is the best reliable news source we have and anyone who bashes him are idiots. Sure, he has fun with some of the news, but that is because liberals are laughable news makers, but on the other hand, there are some liberals do make for serious news. Just watch the news.
I agree,it is embarrassing. It would be hilarious if it was not such a tragedy. I am sure that the engineers involved were talented, and certainly very special, to their loved ones and friends - but come on - they really were not harboring cutting edge know how that couldn't be acquired by any other means. I believe they were mostly Quality and Packaging Engineers. Invaluable to any company trying to make a profit, but bringing six-sigma processes to Acmed's suicide belt factory, or teaching kaisan or ishikawa fishbone diagrams to Mohammed's Falafel stand ... really is not worth a hijacking. Yes, embarrassing.
Stolen plane or a ruse...made to look like a stolen plane, but a secret deal to get a plane somewhere. We only saw brief photos of anxious family, and one would wonder that there is so little news coverage of THAT.
My question is, how did the NSA miss this, what with all their spying on everyone and stuff?
Where they important and valued employees? Yes.
Where they irreplaceable to the company? probably not.
Most smart thinking companies would never fly that many highly valued employees together on one flight.
My company never allows the President, CEO or Head of Technology together on any one flight.
Wasn’t there a government project called the Philadelphia Experiment which made a ship cloak during the 40’s?
I get the odd feeling that it will never be known what truly ever happened.
If it is a terrorist attack by the pilot he has got more publicity than a bombing.
