It’s interesting that the way Snopes (my favorite liberal viewed debunking site - Hah!) it kind of sounds like he was in over his head, the victim of a Nigerian type scam rather than the founder of the scam. You can always count on Snopes to put the best possible face on liberal scandals and the worst if it involves a conservative.
