Seems that Muslim web sites are claiming that Neeson has converted to Islam.

Movie star Liam Neeson has admitted he’s afraid to convert to Islam because of how locals in his home town would take it.

The Northern Irish actor thinks Islam “is the answer” after experiencing the Muslim call to prayer while filming Taken 2 in Istanbul.

But the 61-year-old doesn’t want to go all the way because people in Ballymena, Co Antrim, may be annoyed with his decision.

So it looks like he's admitting he's converted, but doesn't want to make it official.

It's sad when outrageous gossip rags are used as straight news "reporting." His words were taken out of context and the words printed seem more like the answer to a hypothetical; an opinion of the writer, couched as a direct quote.
Not defending the clueless actor, but I'm surprised he doesn't seem to exercise much judgment.

And no, you couldn't pay me to watch this movie.
