I have grown Cherokee Purple before, and they were delicious.

Good to hear. Did you have any major issues with fruit cracking? I hear this variety is more prone to it than normal.

No I didn’t, but then I water daily the same amount, unless we get rain. Cracking is largely due to watering fluctuations.

I've grown the Cherokee Purples for the past few years and I've never had a problem with them cracking.

They are a simply lovely tomato, IMHO.
