George Zimmerman has fleed Miami after being chased by a crowd and told there is a $10,000 bounty on his head.
He abandoned his home with his family moments after a TV interview with CNN the next morning.
Zimmerman, 30, appeared on CNN on Monday to accuse President Barack Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder of making him a 'scapegoat'.
It has emerged his words came hours after infuriated protesters ambushed him, his girlfriend and her son on the beach.
Speaking on national television to Chris Cuomo, he revealed he still receives death threats seven months after he was acquitted of the murder of Trayvon Martin.
He said he suffered a 'miscarriage of justice' in his trial for the killing of the Florida teen, and maintains that he acted in self-defense within the law.
When Cuomo asked him what he was being made a scapegoat for, he responded: 'The government, the president, the attorney general....
Zimmerman said that he has had death threats since the trial, which he put down to his portrayal in the media and not his shooting of a teenaged boy.
Zimmerman told Calderón that he can no longer lead a normal life and must wear a bullet-proof vest when he is out in public.
Describing himself as 'totally homeless,' Zimmerman said his family helps him 'a lot.'

I’m sure the people putting the bounty up will be investigated and charged shortly.
right?
LOL! Nope. That’s the consequence for popping an innocent black yout’/choir boy. That and being a slave owner. Or something. It’s all about justice. Right? It’ll be investigated about as well as the black panther intimidation issue was.
the news media pulling the strings of all the puppets(most of the American people)
I understand he was given the silent treatment at the Country Club and lost his regular 7:30 Tee Time.
Does that count?
Those are acts of “micro-aggression” that YT uses to impose his racism on the victim class.
“...fleed” ?
The man should move away from Florida...out to Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, Montana or Nevada and not tell anyone who he is...change his name. Start a new life.
Sad he has to do this...but IMHO, that is what he should do and leave all of that behind him.
Young black men: 3% of the population. 50% of the murder.
Obsession with the rare white-on-black “crime” is an attempt to mask the failure of black culture.
Both Zimmerman and anyone with him should be carrying a sidearm at all times. Two adults can access 16 rounds each, without reloading. Add in a spare pair of magazines and they can do a workmanlike job of protecting themselves and the child from a violent mob.
Does anyone know anything about that $10,000 bounty allegedly on Zimmerman?
It would be interesting to observe the disparity of response in the Dept. Of Injustice/Holder being told a bounty had placed on anyone who shoots Zimmerman.
;-)
Poor guy. He’s going to keep being hounded until he snaps.
the news media has lynched and executed an innocent man
maybe zimmerman can get facial plastic surgery to look like trayvon. then he’ll be left alone lol
seriously maybe plastic surgery can make him look different so he can live in peace
Got to admit GZ is no coward, he is constantly told lay low, get out of the country, he is foolish and so on.
He has his freedom, and he is going to exercise it...Bravo!
That being said, his life will most likely be short.
He should move to Peru. I hope this gf is not the one who told cops lies about him not long ago.
I think before he can do that he needs to go into hiding for a year and during that time change his appearance so that he is no longer easily recognizable — lose a lot of weight and grow his hair long and dye it and change his facial appearance. And then live like a hermit.
It is my understanding that when a Police officer discharges his firearm and kills another human being, even in self-defense or in the midst of preventing a crime, he is immediately put into some kind of counseling because of the Trauma involved.
However, when GZ did the same thing defending his own life, he was excoriated, accused of racism, nationally reviled, tried in the press, threatened, attacked, and has had to defend himself against charges of murder. Is it any wonder that since his acquittal he has gotten into trouble again and again? I think that if the same thing happened to me (and it could, because I carry), it would be very difficult to maintain my sanity.
I hope all my beloved FReepers will keep this in mind when discussing GZ’s “ACTING OUT”. Not accusing anyone here, but over the years I have seen some mean things on FR about GZ. Please let us all remember that any one of us could be in his shoes.
