When I had my farm, someone wanted to get rid of her 4 adult geese. I went and picked them up for the farm and she gave me the blue kiddy pool that the geese used for drinking and would go into the pool. I had a good size pond on the farm and they wouldn't go near it. I kept moving the kiddy pool closer to the pond and they wouldn't go near the pond, even when the kiddy pool was right next to it...finally decided this is ridiculous and using a rake to keep one of the geese from fleeing, forced it into the pond. Good golly he was squawking all the time, until he found out he could swim. (I kept runing around the pond and with the rake wouldn't let him out,) That became their place to hang out and all of the 4 would swim in it and at night bedded down on the far side of the pond. Great watchdogs, if any critter passed by, they would honk up a storm and then the dog would start barking, she knew those geese were on guard.

They also became attack geese, LOL a friend visited the farm and we were not home. They told me that those geese attached the tires of their car. Would even attack anyone walking the farm if they saw them...

I had Muskovy ducks a few years back and one was insane. I called him my attack duck. He ran two Jehovah's witnesses clear back across the pond dam.
