My definition of friend is someone you can call for bail money at 3am and they don’t ask what you were arrested for.

My definition is that a true friend would not put you in that situation of calling you at 3 am in the morning and asking for bail money.

And yes, the first question I would ask is what in the world you were doing at 3 am in the morning that would cause you to be arrested? I would most likely suggest that my "friend" should talk to a a lawyer first before asking me for bail money. Why would he not go to his own family first, unless they have been burned by him on previous occasions?

My Brother called me once for bail money. He had been arrested several times for the same behavior. Driving under a suspended license, DUI.

He didn’t like my response. 25 years later he still doesn’t have license.

I hope you don’t take everything so serious in life...it was a farce. and for what it is worth, my family is all deceased if that is a factor.
