Keith: Great way to start the show. Really set the bar high, baby, for everyone else. Still feel like you can release a bit more. You can cut loose, baby.
Jlo: You have a real chance of getting there (the finale). Any piece of added thing to push you ... will help you win.
Harry: So happy to hear you sing it. Such a strong voice. Maybe you can try to think of specifically of what you think you can do. Find something. At this point, it's going to take every single edge.
The judges' cup runneth over with advice. They'll settle down after a few songs.
Seacrest: (to Lopez) Did I just here you say she (Jena) can win this?
Jlo: After last week (and tonight) ... she could take the whole thing.

His first song is "It's Time" by Imagine Dragons. This is Rock? Okay ... it gets better as it goes. Never heard it before.
The Ferlies are aglow.
Jlo: I got goosies on that one. I believed you when you were singing that song. There's that line "I'll never change who I am". We just want you to be the best you can be. (liked it) Congratulations.
Harry: I can hear you singing that in a concert. Perfect song choice. You're such a sweet humble kind guy. All your doing is starting to add layers to that. You're blossoming, man. Great to watch.
Keith: That's a good performance for you. There was a thing you tapped into. A gravitas, a weight. You've got a lot of stuff in you. Real pain, real frustration. When you learn to tap into that, you'll explode.
Seacrest overloads the Ferlies, schmoozing with Sam about his 18th birthday. Laying it on thick.
They'll have to take the Ferlies out on stretchers.
