When we are all out there on the trail, I prefer to think we are all supporting each other’s efforts to get/stay healthy. Maybe I’m naive, but I’m happier believing it. The ones that are irksome are the walkers who clap their hands and say “Looking good!” as if any of us are looking for approval.
i don’t know, it seems to me gym rats would be more likely to be catty than trail runners.
