The rapist wins the game. The SOB should have been in jail instead of playing football.

Auburn dominates in every statistical category and loses. Beat by a serial rapist.

The perfect ending to the worst season in Gator football history.

Could care if FSU won the game, Auburn is the better team and will start out next year as #1 in the country.

If I could retire two sportscasters, Brent and Costas would be my picks.

Not quite every statistical category. If you look at the often insignificant categories under special teams, Florida was better in terms of field goal accuracy and kick returns—which together was enough to barely offset the rest. Good game.

Good game.

Auburn went a bit too conservative, even though they had that over-the-middle pass open all night, they decided to run it up the middle hoping to wear down FSU's d-line.

...too bad it didn't come to a 4th down play there at the end.

...congrats FSU.

Auburn is the better team. All year long this FSU team was overated and a player winning it for them that should have been in jail instead of playing football means nothing to in my book. Auburn ran through FSU like shit through a goose.

FSU wins it all.
One of the greatest teams in history of all of College Football.
The greatest BCS Natty Game ever.
The BCS worked to perfection in every year of it’s existence.
The new playoff system for FBS will ruin College football for good, just like how NFl is ruining it’s brand...SEC streak ends.
That is what the national sports media will say en masse(sp)..
That hurts as a Gator fan(2013 be cursed).

I think this season was our Karma payback for Aaron Hernandez.

Ok, we’ve served our penance.

I agree that character ought to count—I’d like to see college football re-ordered such that the season was compatible with academics, and in the biggest picture tolerating rape will get one to a hot place and further degrades football. Turning out good citizens and good scholars ought to be secondary to achievements on the field, and ultimately is secondary whether one recognizes it or not—that the nation is largely failing in the citizenship and scholarship department has bigger ramifications than a football game or a championship. I’d rather go back to the early 60’s with a 10 game season, a few bowls, and no pretense of a national championship outside of debatable voting.

All the same, from the strictly football perspective, the two teams seem pretty even to me. Special teams is something of a lottery, to both miss a field goal and give up the kick return together is a ten-point difference, 34-27 AU, which seems fair enough—and don’t send your daughters to FSU. (Though of course, without the return, the rest of the fourth quarter would have run differently).

The curse of the Tebow.

Florida won’t have another winning season until Tebow has a starting job in the NFL.
