I did a search, but I couldn’t find anything on line about the National Anthem at the Badgers/Gamecocks game.

Pity...like I said, we only heard it on the radio. I couldn’t believe it when the announcers didn’t refer to it. It was beautiful and I so wanted to know who did it.

I wonder if the UW athletic department would know? Where was the game played?

Whoever did the vetting was cowed into believing he (or she) would be run out of town, trailing a caravan of thugs crying "racis', racis'!", or boiled alive in a similar media circus, never to collect another paycheck in football sports.

In allowing them to "go on", I believe that person took some small comfort that a large portion of the audience would see the "performance" for what it was, a non-harmonious, disrespectful, self-aggrandizing display of lack of talent against our great nation's anthem and symbol of greatness.

I think that it is spelled Capital, FWIW, although search engines are pretty good with misspellings. I’ll search later. I’ve got to go to work to finish invoices that I didn’t do yesterday! I’ve frittered away the whole day, and now I’ve got to buckle down.

Happy New Year to you and Cultural Canary.

You are referring to the singers and not the mo’ float, right? Or both?

:]

The singers managed to really butcher the anthem.

I think it was the Double Layer Cinnamon Swirl Cake Mix Bowl.

[The names for some of the bowls have become ridiculous. And the number of bowl games is what? 50?]
