What a freakin' disgrace: an iconic American event, with a history going back over 100 years, being tarnished by this. This is supposed to be family entertainment, nothing very politically controversial, or at least I once thought so. Wonder which celebs might appear on the float, and if there will be any visible objections to it. Maybe other floats pulling out in protest?
We heard about it a week ago but do keep notifying people, keep the pressure on, and if that fails activate the ICBMs.
That totally changes the meaning of me not watching parades because they’re gay.
Really though I'd like to see another Conservative ran and themed news and talk network like the one Paul Weyrich once had up and running on sateelite and some cable systems. They had congressmen and senators as guest and you got to talk to them live. I got through plenty of times on call in :>}
Normal people should raise holy hell if there isn’t a heterosexual marriage float in the “parade” also.
These attention grabbers want one person to yea or throw something just so they can whine they got the attention they were after. They'll get their 15 minutes on tv crying and acting all agasp. The talking heads are probably already drooling at the prospect of getting the first interview.

Noticed on FB there’s some complaints about Sea World having a float. Whales in captivity is more morally reprehensible than gay marriages.

More like the Gay Marriage FLIT. Nothing against a neutral presentation but some of the stuff I’ve seen in San Francisco via the internet is beyond disgusting, and I’m no prude.
We have traditional American family values, Obama Family Values, and the GLAAD warp (not wrap) family no-values.
We lose on two of the three.
I’m so desperate for normalcy that I’d even accept Addams’ Family Values, the Mamuska and all.

Great Idea!! Duck calls should be sounded everywhere homosexual perversion is flaunted. A&E doesn’t know what they have started — they have awakened another sleeping giant.
Positively brilliant. I remember seeing here a story about a truck driver who was hired to pull a parade float and when he arrived learned it had a pro-homo theme. He refused to pull it and was sued or something. If only he'd had your idea and planned accordingly!
This thread is meaningless without pictures of proposed float designs.
CNN had a whole expose documentary on it, Black Fin, with contradictory facts, philosophical inconsistency, and really, really stupid notions of what trained animal exhibitions are about.
