Agreed. As throughout the internet, there’s a contingent in FR that vents a lot of venom and hatred (personal problems guised behind political rants). These are those who forget what we and America stand for: ardent vigilance but respect for the dignity of the individual; a free society but also a well-mannered society. Ahhh, I remember when it was nicer to each other here. But then I knew the Heart of Texas freepers and we met for several years every month. We followed the same threads and I just remember it being more polite.
Can’t say that I have thought of it that way, lately but I read this it feels different from the earlier.
