This is a site that has a lot of serious discussion but you do have to wade through a lot of pop commentary, inside jokes, and free wheeling stuff. If you are looking for only serious commentary and the free wheeling fellowship of day to day stuff puts you off, it probably seems irritating.

Best of luck finding some site that runs commentary more appropriate to your temperament.

I was serious. You don’t need FR; you need an echo chamber.

I was just suggesting ways you might achieve that. Nothing sarcastic about it.
