No, will give it a try.....I have had the fascia removed from both feet so I walk funny. Callouses are quarter size and can get really thick. The dremmel with the sander looks painful but ok as long as you are careful. Looks like I am sanding wood. dust everywhere so I do it outside. Will try the Vicks. Thanks for tip.
I would think that they could make them not as sharp.
I did an experiment years ago because I knew the rust was dulling the blades, I put vegetable oil in a coffee mug and sat it on my bathroom sink and after I finished shaving I patted the razor dry and put it in the mug of oil til the next use. Blades stayed very sharp and last a long time, was a smoother shave too.
I don’t have that much facial hair (just enough to look white trash) so I just use a cordless.
For the last several years (Since I retired) I usually just run the barber clippers over my face twice a week. Less skin irritation and no blades to buy. Yes, I always look like I just got out of prison but, hey...

I skip days as my face just can’t take a daily assault from a razor .
Besides a great shave, its is a real confidence builder, if you dont bleed out first.
It takes a little practice, just like anything worthwhile.

I got my son a DE blade and some good shaving soaps and he swears by them.
The price is right too.
My son has the DE razor that screws open from the bottom with wings.

I heard of a lady that swallowed a Wilkinson Sword razor blade. She gave herself a tonsillectomy, hysterectomy, an appendectomy, gave her husband a vasectomy, cut the finger of a casual friend and still got seven good shaves.

Actually it’s because they hold water better than anything else. More water means more lather and more passes on a single brush load of soap/cream.

I like having a permanent 3-day-growth beard for those reasons. My face gets itchy if I let it grow much longer.
Occasionally I will have to shave for a job interview, and my skin is smooth as silk, unlike when I shaved daily.
