Indeed. Hubby read that book Stalking the Wild Asparagus, and went around foraging and cooking stuff for the next 2 or 3 years.LOL
That book is around here somewhere.

I think I still have that book. That was where I learned that wilderness survival was a real thing, not just some weird obsession that was 100 years out of date.
(I was 11. People kept telling me how dumb I was for wanting to learn how things were done without technology.)
