He is not a conservative. He started out as a Dimocrat. I think he still supports abortion on demand.
I know that. Still, he’s more often right than wrong on many issues that we care about. He may not be “pure” but he’s both smart and perceptive on national defense and fiscal sanity, two things that I personally find of paramount importance.
