Not very wise. It doesn’t look like the dog has been around the donkey long enough to understand that the first few kicks were a warning. That dog could’ve been hurt (and the donkey needs a visit from the farrier).

What the F@#@!! was the matter with whatever idiot filmed this? That dog could have been seriously injured or killed!!!

That is one very kind donkey. If that were a shetland pony, the dog would have been kicked into the atmosphere and returned to the ground lifeless.

Ponies are mean little $hits. They are always the smallest of the barnyard herd, so when something smaller than them comes by they overcompensate. This rule particularly applies to small children. Never turn your back on a pony. Better yet, buy the gentle horse for your kid to ride. They like children.

The dog was hurt but recovered from his injuries. Do not watch if you are sensitive to such sights.
