Governor Huey Long went into a New Orleans delicatessen & asked what was the special of the day. The proprietor replied they had some wonderful smoked beef tongue on rye.
“You think I’m gonna eat something what came out of some animal’s mouth!!?” the Kingfish exclaimed. “You go fry me a couple eggs!”
