We live in the middle of a war. The war of good and evil.We have our government military doing good in the world, local churches and synagogues and various social organizations doing good. Unfortunately those same groups are part of the evil that exists. Satan and his evil spirits are roaming throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls. Does the United States have those evil spirits in Washington, D.C.? The rest of the country?
From Washington, D.C. we see endorsement of murder in abortion, we see endorsement of gay "marriage," we see infidelity and lying and reckless spending, I would say there are evil spirits in Washington, D.C. In the country we see people killing each other for no reason and we have people with laissez-faire attitudes. More evil spirits?
There are three Bible verses, that fit current government and society: Revelation 3:16, 2 John 1:7, Isaiah 5:20.

Nice post. True and accurate remarks from Mrs. Brown, of what abandonment of Almighty God brings upon a nation. It will not be pleasant, this chastisement, and Christians are turning these things over in our minds daily.
We are always in a war between good and evil. This is just the season for God’s shock and Awe campaign. There is no denying that the hand of salvation has been extended out for all who want to be saved- or raptured (or removed from the pain of evil)

This might be true here and there but even so, I thought the purpose of the military was something about killing people and breaking things, not "doing good".
So when a Predator drone fires a Hellfire missile at an electronic signature of a cell phone because the NSA has associated it with someone who has done, or might do bad things, and it also kills a half dozen children that person has surrounded himself with, that's good?
Good point on that point. Lots of their other stuff is resonating though, here and there, on some sides of all sides of both parties. I sense things are going to be getting more interesting and include some unusual alignments, for cobbling together a majority needed to stop the socialism and trim back the sails of the money changers, etc.
Cruz, hopefully, will be able to thread the needle and attract votes beyond his base without the base devouring him for it. Politics isn’t beanbag for very long, before it turns into chess, and that requires a brain and instinct. I believe Cruz has it, if we can hold the line past the coming rapids.

My opine about the evil is that God in His Generosity has extended the age we live to, to confess our sins and repent. We used to live until 73 and now you have many, many living to 85.
The last 4 things, Death, Judgment, Heaven and Hell.
Our local air force unit has our local priest as a Chaplain. They were over to Iraq and while there they opened and ran a “home” for children without parents
I think Mrs. Brown had that in mind.
