Looks pretty good. Sucks to be Group H, in my opinion.

MU got a pretty easy draw all things considered.

Thanks for posting. Yeah, Group H looks tough. How did MU “get away” with getting in Group A?

Agreed, and Group F looks like the runner up in the “Sucks” category...

Comparatively nice draw for United and Chelsea. Arsenal will struggle in their group.

It’s arguable that United as a top seed got some of the best of the draw in both the second and third seeds in their group.

Dadgumit, Ajax is getting Barcelona in their group again this year with Celtic and AC Milan. Looks like Group H is this year’s Group of Death.

Master of the understatement. Dortmund is going to beat them like a rented mule.

Celtic will get thrashed. But even if results don’t go your way, the Europa League isn’t a bad consolation prize for third place in the group.

I realize that doesn’t help much.

Celtic beat Barcelona at home last year. It was one heck of a finish for Celtic just to get in.

Can City get past CSKA Moscow, or will they flame out again in Europe?

All of these should be fairly competitive:

Manchester City v Barcelona (Would not be shocked if City took this one)
Olympiakos v Manchester United (Toss-Up)
AC Milan v Atletico Madrid (The only sure bet, Atletico)
Bayer Leverkusen v Paris St-Germain (PSG)
Galatasaray v Chelsea (Slight leaning to Chelsea)
Schalke v Real Madrid (Real Madrid)
Zenit St Petersburg v Borussia Dortmund (Dortmund)
Arsenal v Bayern Munich (Bayern, but it won’t be a cakewalk)

Arsenal gets Bayern two years running. Lucky them.

Having the away leg first will be big. City’s success depends on which of their teams shows up. On their day, Barca and Bayern are the best club teams in the world.

Right now I like all the higher seeds with the possible exception of United due to RVP being injured and my disdain for David Moyes. I can easily see him playing one striker in the home leg.
