I do not believe anything any agency of the American government says about anything.

What influences does this event have on the individual orbiting magnetic fields of planets in orbit around the sun?
Is the sun's magnetic field powerful enough to alter in any way individual planets?
How close does the Earth have to be to "feel" it?

The dramatic-sounding event happens every 11 years. The Sun's magnetic activity follows a cycle, and as it reaches a maximum the poles weaken, reversing polarity.I have two questions:
1) Is global warming to blame?
2)
What will the effect of this reversing polarity be on neutron flow?
