Once global warming dies out, the looney left can start fretting about the destruction of the Van Allen belts by fracking.
Not too difficult to imagine they would claim that fracking disrupts the earth’s magnetic field. The Van Allen radiation belts are dependent upon a magnetic field that is powerful enough to sustain it. Once the Van Allen belts are weakened, the solar wind will blow away the atmosphere and it will be like living on Mars.
