The Wall St. Journal announced in an editorial today that illegal aliens have assimilated and have caught up in education, so this article about sinking schools in CA must be mistaken.
The illegals are not a homogeneous group. Some are educated and come from better backgrounds. Others are illiterate gang members.
Weeding them out will not do any good if the borders are unguarded.
I live in Kalifornia. The schools and culture have to sink to assimilate.
