A simple image of a Lynchburg, Va., Marine and his bride praying before their wedding has gone viral.
In the photo, Bre and Josh Curtas are seen holding hands from around a corner so that the groom cannot see the bride.
According to Bre, who started a Tumblr account after the photo went viral, the future husband and wife were were praying for their marriage.
My husband prayed that God would bless our marriage, that through thick or thin together we would never lose hope in one another, she wrote. That instead of focusing on each others imperfections we would always rely on Christs perfection.
The sweet photo was taken before the couples wedding last August, and seems to have gained traction online in the midst of wedding season.
There we sat around the corner hand in hand, and together we bowed our heads. People were rushing about; the wedding coordinator directing people here and there, the photographers snapping photos and the bridal party enjoying each others company, Bre continued. Yet in that moment, in the quietness of our hearts and minds, my husband and I were alone in the presence of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Wow! A couple who know they NEED and ASK FOR God’s blessing on their union. They will surely be blessed! Beautiful!

It is only a matter of time before military uniforms will not be allowed to be worn in a Christian wedding.
I'm dead serious.

That would be Private. The Corps distinguishes between ones pay grade and ones rank.

The stuff of which MY America is made STILL LIVES. And a perverted life form called obama cannot kill it!
Join me in praying that this young man — and all his comrades in arms — return to their loved ones.

Man I love this photo. I saved it days ago.
This is what marriage is. This is what love is. This is what a wedding looks like.
Despite the tons of propaganda to the contrary.

Wow, I only grew up in the Marine Corps. My late father (USMC 1943 - 1965) was in communications, finishing out as a Gunnery Sergeant Commo Chief. Thanks for filling me in.

I was once turned down for an assignment because I was NOT married. It was at Camp David and the Corps wanted only stable married officers there. I was offered an assignment at 8th and I instead, which I declined.

Air Force maybe, Marine Corps never. It's very unwise to assume that *anything* is safe in *any* branch of the Armed Forces under the current Community Organizer-In-Chief.There must have been at least one same sex "couple" of Marines at that Armed Forces Gay Pride celebration held at the White House a few months ago.

No problem, pogue. You should know better. There's a big difference between being a Marine brat and actually serving in the Corps. A fact which your father probably reminded you of on numerous occasions but one you obviously failed to learn.
