I still cannot understand why the birther movement didn't just skip all of this and cut to the chase: the laws of the United States, at the time of his birth, made Obama a citizen of the United Kingdom. Therefore, he is ineligible to be President. Period. Every court filing his side has made provides primi facie evidence of this. It is not in dispute. I just don't get it.

Bread and circuses. A bunch of distraction created to cloud the real issue.

Fact: All the people in Congress KNOW the truth. The CIA has files on everyone who runs for office.

Thus every person in Congress is complicit. Legally.

That is a problem.

So they do the show you see, drag it out with side issues that can be fought and claim it’s ‘settled science and old news” when anyone brings up the real issue...because most people don’t KNOW the real issue. Thus anyone with a clue is mocked and made to look like a ‘Truther”.

This is where Orly comes in to play.

Orly Taitz has been successful at obfuscating the real issue, that Obama's father was never a US citizen, and therefore Obama can not be a Natural Born US Citizen. She has done more to define what the average, uninformed, person considers as a 'birther', and that being someone who believes Obama was not born in Hawaii, than anyone else on the planet. It's classic disinformation.
