Ollie North testified about Osama Bin Laden in the late 1980s. OBL left his calling card on the US homeland at the first WTC attack in February 1993. In spite of that, Bill Clinton did nothing about OBL/Al-Queda, despite being offered OBL’s head on a platter. And then there was the USS Cole attack in 2000.
Bill Clinton obviously failed. But in light of all the above, that GWB wasn’t more on the ball vis-a-vis Al Queda was equally inexcusable, IMHO. GWB was more invested in that horrendous 2001 Farm Bill than he ever was in securing the homeland against Islamists after eight years of Clinton negligence. GWB = epic fail also.
Bill Clinton and OBL were close pals. And Bill Clinton was an intimate associate of Bush the elder, who actually called him like as his Son.
There is a long story of major crime involving the Bushes and Clintons. Most of the people knowing much are dead, and not of natural causes. It has been a very diverse criminal venture; look up Clinton and Aids blood, for example. Freeper Budge gave much of his life to exposing that one.
