So that’s just about anyone you might date.
So based on the current population roughly 1 in 4 has at least one STD?
And obviously the bulk of those are under 40?
So common sense would put the numbers at what... 50/50 that anyone of breeding age you meet has an STD?
If that is anywhere close to true... ? ... ? ... ? What can you say and where do you even begin to have a discussion about the obvious ramifications of this? ... ? Kind of at a loss here.
Unless these numbers are pure crap.
The US population is 313 million, so it would be more than one in three. This statistic is total BS.

It would depend on what race you are meeting. I wouldn’t be surpised 3/4 of the 110k are blacks and hispanics.

When you have sexual intercourse on average with about 50-100 people and that sexual activity includes oral/anal; penis/anal; and genital/genital sex, you are likely to get diseases. And when you consider that every other person you’re having sex with has also had sex with about the same number of people, then you’re effectively having sex with thousands and thousands of germs and viruses.
Funny thing about all this: every time you have sex with another person, you assume you’re the ONE AND ONLY. What crap.

Could these data point to the causation of complete idiocy coming out of Washington,DC due to the massive number of latent tertiary syphllis cases residing in that city? I’m beginning to think think that our elected officials are not the “best and brightest”.

It matters because STD’s occur more often in blacks than whites which this report on the 110m with STD’s ignored. There are other reports that show blacks with 60% to 75% of the STD’s.
What I find interesting is the article refers to STI’s not STD’s. If they are refering to sexually transmitted infections that would include Vaginal and Urinary Yeast infections which is quite common.
But there are also lies, damned lies and then there are statistics
This report wasn’t about race just the numbers.
I’m aware of the other reports and the percentage is high but not the numbers you give.

McKinsey got his data by interviewing sex offenders. Wouldn’t surprise me if this data came from an equally flawed sample.
You’re right. There are only a little over 300 million people total in the us. Figure about a fifty fifty split on gender, and a roughly linear age distribution from zero to sixty, with some smaller tail off to a few years older... Their numbers mean 100 percent infection rates or more in certain age groups.
