Actually there's real evidence a comet hit a residual bit of the ice sheet in Canada and returned much of the Northern hemisphere to ice age conditions rapidly ~ this is called the Younger Dryass. The 'great flood' necessarily occurs by about 8000 BC ~ the place is still flooded BTW!

These camels were wandering about in an arctic desert for several million years.

The camels in the article were from 3.5 million years ago, the Younger Dryas occurred around 12,000 years ago. There are apparently flash frozen mammoths caused by that event.

SC time to post the Firestone, et al. book.
