Since anyone who puts on the uniform is to be placed on a pedestal, then you make it clear that you unquestioningly endorse Major Nidal Hasan, and PFC Bradley Manning. And we could go further back if you like.
How about all of the uniformed personnel that got themselves into the Leavenworth Military Prison, and the Portsmouth Naval Prison? More of your heroes.
Or we could have an adult conversation in which we agree that troops that graciously show up to an event thrown in their honor don’t necessarily qualify as fans on the same level as the knuckle draggers who make the WWE an unqualified financial giant.
