Maybe someone should market targets with certain politicians’ pictures on them. I mean, turnaround’s fair play. First amendment and all that.
RE your #139; Be careful.
Some years ago I was chatting with a gun store owner in NH who told me that someone had made up some photocopied pictures of the Slickster with a bulls eye on them, which he had laying on the counter as a joke... until a BATFE Agent swaggered in and told him on no uncertain terms to make them go away as it is apparently a federal felony to even possess a depiction of the POTUS which can be construed to be a target, much less get caught shooting at one.
He was talking hard time in Club Fed and loss of gun rights for life.
I don’t know if that applies to other politicians as well, but if you shoot anywhere where a fed or untrusted LEO is even apt to show up or be surveiling you I wouldn’t advise pushing your luck.
They can shoot at pictures of us, but they’d better not catch us shooting at pictures of them.
Some animals are more equal than others, you know.
