If this were true, I’d never get a good night’s sleep. I put horseradish on english muffins and tabasco on dried apricots.

Crushed red pepper flakes should be behind the pharmacy counter. It should be classified as a psychedelic drug.

So... might our present national nightmare due to us all eating overly spicy food?

I wish!

The nightmare for me would be a world without hot peppers.

As I enter geezerhood, Prisolec is my faithful companion. I refuse to give up spicy food, but waking up with acid reflux is a surefire method to ruin sleep for the rest of the night.

For many years, spicy food at night did not bother me, just tomato heavy dishes would. Now I do not gamble. Habaneros for breakfast are still no problem, thankfully.

I had nightmares about mufflers and woke up exhausted.

I love nightmares.

Or good dreams.

Either. Makes me no difference.

Dreaming, to me, is like going to the movies.. I’ve gone the dream interpretation route, trying to put meaning into it.

In the end, it makes no difference, I love the heck out of my dreams, which are colorful, sometimes frightening, sometimes uplifting, sometimes sorrowful.....

No kidding. I put a couple of jalapenos in the pot with some cabbage, broccoli, pork, etc., and woke up with the cold sweats after a nightmare wherein the White Hut had been taken over by an anti-American, communist, muslim, homo, druggie, who had stolen the last two presidential elections. Scary stuff.

Not true. I have nightmares at most 3-4 times a year. I have a spicy omelette every day.

The technicolor dreams from spicy foods are definitely true. I’ve never been one to have nightmares, but have truly spectacular dreams after a spicy meal. I enjoy them as much as the spicy food

No nightmare comes close to waking up knowing we have at least another four years of hussein and his minions.
