Our kids were generally well behaved in restaurants. On the rare occasions when they did have a meltdown, we took them out so they didn’t disturb the other patrons. But even well behaved children can leave more of a mess to clean up and if that was the case we would leave a more generous tip to compensate for the extra clean up.
